Re-Opening and COVID-19 update:

LIMITED CLASS SCHEDULE 

Due to the virus, The Yoga Room is currently offering a LIMITED SCHEDULE for in-person classes.

 

  • Masks required to enter. As of July 3, the governor has updated Kansas to wearing masks in public spaces.  Students must wear a mask to enter the studio and leave it on until we start moving, at which time it can be removed and placed next to your mat.  When class is over please put your mask back on as you roll up your mat and gather your things.  

  • Online Streaming classes will continue M-Th at 9am in our private FB group "The Yoga Room at Fairlawn Streaming."  Please purchase a Monthly Online Streaming pass to access online classes.  After purchasing your pass, search for the Facebook group and request to join. All online classes are saved so you can watch them at your convenience.  

  • NO DROP INs will be allowed for in-person classes. All students must register and pay in advance (via the mindbody app), and sign the updated waiver online. No payments will be taken in the practice room.  This is for your safety, as well as ours.  If you do not have a mindbody account, go to the “Schedule” tab and click the mindbody link at the top. You will need to create a mindbody account (email or Facebook message us if you need assistance).

  • ALL in-person classes have been RELOCATED the large empty room across from Dance Factory, located inside Fairlawn Plaza Mall on the east end, until further notice. 

  • No mats or props will be provided. Students are required to bring their own mat and props (props optional).  This is for your safety. Please maintain social distancing between yoga mats.

 

In order for us to provide the safest yoga experience possible, we ask that that you answer the following questions truthfully each time you plan to attend public classes:

  • Have you traveled outside of the state in the past 2 weeks?

  • Have you had contact with a person with known or suspected COVID-19?

  • In the past 2 weeks have you experienced:

    • Fever (greater than 100.4), chills, rigors (shaking),

    • Cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath

    • Body aches (myalgia)

    • General malaise

    • Change in sense of smell or taste

    • Diarrhea

    • If the answer is yes to any of these questions, seek care through your primary health care provider and stay home!

 

Please be patient during this transition period as we cautiously ease back into providing a full schedule. We will continue to review evolving local, state, and federal guidelines to assure compliance with these standards.
